At present, the following problems should be paid attention to when designing and assembling the fixture of the machining center:

① Directional installation shall be adopted. In order to ensure that the installation position of the parts is consistent with the workpiece coordinate system selected in the programming and the coordinate system of the machine tool.

② It can be disassembled in a short time and changed into a fixture suitable for the new workpiece to ensure that the disassembly of the matching fixture of the machining center does not take too much time.

③ In order to simplify the positioning and installation of each positioning surface of the fixture relative to the processing origin of the machining center, accurate coordinate dimensions are required.

④ Try to complete all the processing in one clamping. When the clamping point must be replaced, pay special attention not to damage the positioning accuracy due to the replacement of the clamping point.

⑤ All processing of the workpiece in the machining center shall be completed within the stroke range of the spindle.

⑥ The fixture shall have as few components as possible and high stiffness to avoid the fracture of the fixture during processing, which may lead to safety accidents.

⑦ The flatness of the bottom surface of the fixture must be within 0.01-0.02mm, and the surface roughness must be less than or equal to Ra3.2mm.

⑧ The installation fixture shall not interfere with the tool path, so the space position of the clamping element shall be as low as possible.
