Some relevant matters needing attention in the working environment of the medium-speed wire cutting machine
1. Choose a dust-free place and avoid leaving many channels next to the wire cutting;
(1) Due to the inherent characteristics of the wire cutting discharge machine, the presence of dust in the air will cause serious wear of the machine's lead screw, thus affecting its service life;
(2) The wire cutting discharge machine is computer-controlled, and the disk used by the computer has very strict requirements on dust in the air. When dust enters the disk, the disk will be damaged, and the hard disk will also be damaged;
(3) The wire cutting discharge machine itself generates a lot of heat, so the electrical cabinet needs to be ventilated frequently. If there is too much dust in the air, it will accumulate on each electrical component during the ventilation process, causing poor heat dissipation of the electrical components, thereby causing the circuit board to be burned. Therefore, the machine dust screen should be cleaned frequently.
2. Choose a place that can bear the weight of the machine tool;
3. Choose a place without vibration and impact. The wire cutting discharge machine tool is a high-precision processing equipment. If there is vibration and impact in the place where it is placed, it will cause serious damage to the machine, which will seriously affect its processing accuracy, shorten its service life, and even cause the machine to be scrapped.
4. Meet the space size required by the wire cutting machine tool;
5. Choose a place with small temperature changes, avoid direct sunlight through windows and top window glass and places close to heat flow
(1) Products processed by high-precision parts need to be processed at a constant temperature, generally room temperature 20C;
(2) Since the wire cutting discharge machine itself generates considerable heat when working, if the temperature changes too much, it will have a serious impact on the service life of the machine.
6. Choose a shielded house: Because the wire cutting discharge processing process is an arc discharge process, strong electromagnetic waves will be generated during the arc discharge process, which will cause harm to human health and affect the surrounding environment.
7. Choose a spacious factory building with good ventilation conditions so that the operator and the machine tool can work in the best environment.
Other precautions for wire cutting:
1. A certain gap must be maintained between the molybdenum wire and the processed surface of the workpiece. The width of the gap is determined by the working voltage, processing volume and other processing conditions.
2. When processing with an EDM wire cutting machine, it must be carried out in a liquid medium with certain insulating properties, such as kerosene, saponified oil, deionized water, etc. The requirement for high insulation is to facilitate the generation of pulsed spark discharge. The liquid medium also has the function of removing the electrolytic corrosion products in the gap and cooling the electrode. A certain gap is maintained between the molybdenum wire and the processed surface of the workpiece. If the gap is too large, the voltage between the two electrodes cannot break through the inter-electrode medium, and spark discharge cannot be generated; if the gap is too small, it is easy to form a short circuit connection, and spark discharge cannot be generated.
3. A pulse power supply must be used, that is, the spark discharge must be pulsed and intermittent, ti is the pulse width, to is the pulse interval, and tp is the pulse period. In the pulse interval, the gap medium is deionized so that the next pulse can break through and discharge between the two electrodes.
