Vertical machining center lubrication system

The lubrication system of a vertical machining center simply means mixing the separately supplied lubricating oil and compressed air to form a turbulent oil-gas mixture flow and then supplying it to the spindle part or other lubrication parts of the machining center.
Working principle
The flow of compressed air in the pipeline drives the lubricating oil to flow continuously along the inner wall of the pipeline, mixes the oil and gas and delivers it to the spindle part of the machining center and other parts that need lubrication, such as the screw. Dry compressed air is continuously supplied at a constant pressure (5-8 BAR), while the lubricating oil is supplied in different quantities according to the oil consumption of the spindle lubrication, screw lubrication or other parts. Therefore, each lubrication circuit must use a separate micro oil pump as the power source for oil delivery. After the oil comes out of the pump, it must first enter the oil-gas mixing valve. In the oil-gas mixing valve, the flowing compressed air blows the oil into fine oil droplets, which adhere to the pipe wall to form an oil film. The oil film flows along the pipe wall in the direction of the airflow. During the flow process, the thickness of the oil film gradually decreases, but it does not condense .
Features
1. Environmentally friendly and pollution-free. Because there will be no oil and mist spraying, the surrounding environment is not polluted.
2. Accurate oil supply. By adding a regulating valve, the oil can be delivered to the lubrication points such as the spindle and the screw according to different needs;
3. There is no problem of difficulty in atomizing high-viscosity lubricating oil; suitable for any oil;
4. Automatic detection and monitoring. It can detect whether the lubricating oil is normal. If the lubrication is poor, it can alarm and stop the machine to avoid abnormal operation of the equipment.
5. It is especially suitable for the rolling bearing of the spindle. It has a certain air cooling effect, which can reduce the operating temperature of the bearing and thus extend the service life of the spindle;
6. Low oil consumption and cost saving.
Similarities and differences between oil-gas lubrication and oil-mist lubrication
Similarities: Both are powered by compressed air.
Differences: Oil-gas lubrication does not impact the oil into broken mist, but uses the flow of compressed air to transport fine oil droplets along the pipeline to the lubrication point.
Oil-gas lubrication has many advantages compared with other lubrication. The oil-gas lubrication system of the machining center mainly consists of pneumatic pumps, air source processing components, control parts, spiral tubes and other accessories. Unlike oil mist lubrication, oil-gas lubrication uses a wide range of oil viscosities.
Applications
1. In machining centers, parts that generate abnormal heat using grease and oil circulation lubrication.
2. Parts that require high cleanliness and sealing, such as spindles, and high-speed bearings
