Ⅰ Check the longitudinal screw and nut
Before adjustment, it is necessary to first inspect the longitudinal screw and nut of the turret cnc milling machine. If there is damage or deformation of the screw or nut, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
Ⅱ Adjust the nut
1. Find the longitudinal screw on the bed and remove the nut spring on top.
2. Rotate the hand wheel in reverse until it contacts the nut.
3. Rotate the hand wheel clockwise until the nut starts rolling.
4. Rotate the hand wheel counterclockwise by 3/4 turn. Rotate the hand wheel clockwise by 1/4 turn.
5. Gently rotate the hand cranked wheel by hand and observe if the nut rotates smoothly. If smooth, insert the nut spring back in.
If the nut does not rotate smoothly, repeat steps 2-5 until it is adjusted properly.
Ⅲ Adjust the linear guide rail
1. Move the workbench to the top and bottom and observe the gap on the linear guide rail.
2. Loosen the screws of the linear guide towards the workbench direction.
3. Adjust the position of the linear guide towards the workbench until the gap is consistent with the top and bottom.
4. Open the handwheel of the longitudinal guide rail of the turret cnc milling machine by hand and check whether the guide rail is adjusted correctly without being too tight or loose.
IV. Check the effect after adjustment
After completing the adjustment, it is necessary to check whether the effect is satisfactory. Some simple trial cutting and testing operations can be carried out to observe whether the operation is smooth and decide whether further fine-tuning is needed.
