CNC electric discharge drilling machine, also known as CNC small hole machine or electric discharge drilling machine, is a specialized machine tool that combines computer numerical control (CNC) technology and electric discharge machining (EDM) technology. It is specifically designed for efficient and precise machining of small holes on conductive materials, especially those that are difficult or even impossible to machine using traditional mechanical drilling methods.
1.Core principle: By using a continuously rotating hollow tube electrode, pulsed spark discharge is generated between the electrode and the workpiece, resulting in instantaneous high-temperature metal removal. At the same time, high-pressure working fluid (usually deionized water) is sprayed out at high speed from inside the electrode tube, playing a role in cooling, chip removal, and ensuring discharge stability.

二. Operation process of the CNC edm drilling machine
1. Turn on the tool setting function. At this time, the voltage is between 20V-25V
2. Shake the direction, touch one side first, there will be a buzzer sound, wait until the voltage is cleared, clear the X-axis and Y-axis values, and then lift the electrode tube
3. Shake to the Y axis, after the same sound, wait for the voltage to clear, press the Y and ½ keys, and wait for the value to clear
4. Shake to the X axis , (need to be slow, the electrode tube is easy to bend) After the same sound, press the X and ½ keys, wait for the value to be cleared, and then start processing
5. During processing, turn off the tool, turn on the water pump, check that the water output is normal, turn on the high frequency, and the voltage is nearly 100v (for example: when processing 1.0 diameter, the parameter is 536, and other parameters refer to the manual)
6. Press the rotation and processing keys (for example: when processing 1.0 diameter, the voltage is 5V, about 10A)
7. After punching through, turn off the water pump and high frequency, the electrode tube will automatically lift up, and when the electrode tube leaves the workpiece, turn off the processing key
